Case Study 4: Rheumatoid Arthritis: Female – 56yrs

The patient had a 10 year history of rheumatoid arthritis, experiencing severe pain in both hands, lower back and after a recent fall started to get musculo-skeletal chest pain. The patient had many sessions of physiotherapy over the years with little helping and the experience of living with the pain had taken its toll. Her husband had to drive her to her appointments and she was only able to work one day a week. After discussing WBC with her consultant she decided to try it for 6 sessions.

After three sessions she the chest pain and completely gone and her lower back pain had been dramatically reduced. She expressed that she felt much better within herself and was driving herself to her appointments and was thinking of increasing her work to two days a week and generally able to do a lot more activity.
